Well I've finished the 'flight' collection, but as two of the three designs are going into production I can only show you one of them. The tui design.

fiesty red

I was getting bored of the pale blue scarf I was knitting, so introduced a deep red ... perhaps a bit radical ... but more interesting nonetheless. I intend to stitch red stripes up the scarf as well ... to help the red end of the scarf feel and look more at home ... don't let it be said that I don't care for my colour's feelings! The pattern is from a Rebecca magazine ... bit silly to buy a whole magazine packed with loads of patterns ... and use only the scarf pattern ... oh well.

I'm working on a new collection of designs at the moment ... its focused on NZ birds ... these are some of my early sketches. I'm getting quite homesick looking through all the beautiful images of New Zealand on flickr especially those from 'go wild'and 'whereisbrent'
